Offered for bid is a 1984 Jaguar XJ6 for parts or a very ambitious restoration. Owned and driven for many years, car was retired as a parts car as it was replaced with a 1987 model. Car is complete except for steering wheel and a couple of switches. Body is very sound with little rust. Bonnet, front and rear wings, sills and floors and doors are solid with no rust through. Lower part of boot lid has some corrosion but the only panel that is really beyond repair is the lower rear valence where the tailpipes exit. That said, the car is best suited as a parts vehicle with excellent front and rear bumpers, grille, door handles, light fixtures along with all mechanical parts. Included are four Dayton 15" by 7" chrome wire wheels in very good condition. Two of them have a bit of overspray from a driveway sealer that was applied to the parking lot but should clean up with a bit of petrol and a brush. While the tires are flat I expect it is from the tires dry rotting and not the wheels leaking air. Have clear Pennsylvania title. Main reason for sale is I have lost storage space and it must be moved. Buyer responsible for any taxes or fees. Sold as is, where is, in not running condition. Payment due within 3 days of auction close. Must be removed by end of September. Sorry I cannot provide better photographs but vehicle has a building on one side of it and a large trailer on the other side.
