Description of 1985 Jaguar XJ6

Submitted for your consideration is a beautiful 1985 Jaguar XJ6. low mileage sedan (94K) in great running and shifting condition. The car drives like a brand new car out of Jaguar showroom. The car is finished in White and has Burgundy interior. You can go over bumps and don't even feel anything because the front end was replaced by the previous owner by Jaguar dealer 2 years ago. Air flow meter was replaced. The on-board computer works. Aftermarket Sony Cd Player with Ipod and Mp3 ready. although backlit red it does not clash badly with the rest of the gauges. Newer mufflers. Good oil pressure and charging. both gauges move corresponding to the car's movement. as in. lower when stopped and climbing at speed. Meaning. system works as it should and it's reflected on the dash. as well. Car originally from Florida. and thus is solid underneath and in wheel wells. and trunk and also carries a functioning and cold A/C system. The sunroof opens and closes (equally important). The car has a seemingly original interior and it is like brand new. The door panels are almost brand new see pictures. All the Chrome is in great condition. no pitting or cracks. I have the original keys and Maintenance book. The dash pad was replaced by Jaguar dealer and it is brand new. No cracks or fading. The first person who sees and drives the car will buy it without a doubt. The car drives straight. does not pull to the side. and has the correct wheel alignment. You can steer on the highway with one finger. and if you let go it will continue going straight. Tires in good condition. Importantly - the car stops amazingly well. The paint is about 4 years old and still shines. It has 2 little rust bubbles hardly visible. But she is an original 1985 car. and as such all power everything work as they should except for the passenger rear window. radio antenna. and the pillar lights when doors are open. I drove this car two months ago on an 800 mile trip. and would not hesitate to do so again. I drive it to work/gym/groceries two or three times a week. If you live further away you can fly in and drive the car home. or I will consider driving it to you if arrangements are made beforehand to include return ticket home. gas money. etc.
