1973 Jaguar XJ12 Series 1

Looking for a very solid complete early model XJ12 to restore? This is a great candidate to start from. The car is silver with blackleather interior.I bought this car with the intention of restoring, but too many other projects right now and i need the space back in my garage. I don’t know much about the XJ12’s but will do my best to answer any questions. I have a clean Georgia title in hand. Here is what i can tell you:

• Car is complete
• Engine starts and runs (but rough)
• Transmission seems to shift smoothly
• Will need exhaust system (between the manifolds and tail pipes)
• A/C compressor and hoses currently removed but have all the parts
• I have a lot of brand new rubber moulding for windows and such
• Leather seat upholstery is in rough shape
• Brakes are very soft, so car is not currently safe to drive
• Leaks oil and power steering fluid when car is running
• Very minimal rust (a few areas of basic surface rust)
• Frame and underneath of car looks solid and rust free
• Body looks to be straight and in good shape. Paint quite faded in area
• Chrome looks to be good shape
• Car has been stored inside since i had it and previous owner had it stored inside as well.
• Don’t have original radio (someone put in an after market somewhere along the way)
