Description of 1994 Jaguar XJS Convertible |
A lot more photos here: https://www.facebook.com/monte.c.washburn/media_set?set=a.10209071477244422.1073741847.1243031615&type=3 OK, I had 3 Jaguars, and one of my neighbors passed on (2015), and I could not pass up buying it. This is a 1994 Jaguar XJS 2+2convertible. I've decided to get rid of all my current Jaguars, and replace a them with a couple of new cars (one will be an F-Pace). Anyway, this car runs and drives great. I let the battery run down (seen in Check Engine photo) so I need to remove the battery cables, and reconnect to make the code go away (I did charge up the battery, and remembered to put the trickle charger on this time). Anyway, that was to explain the photo which shows check engine. Low battery caused it, and it will be gone after I reset it. The AC was fixed 2 years ago when I bought the car, but frankly -the XJS (all of them) AC is not that good compared to what I am used to having. Cruise control, convertible top, everything works on this car. The only downside I can think of, the Champaign (another way to say gold) paint is fading in places - you should be able to see that in several places on the photos. I have kept this car garaged the entire I have had it, and I know my neighbor did too - so it must have been someone before us that let it get too much sun for the paint. I have a total of $9108.44 in the car. and I did use it for the past 2 years, but I bet I have not put 3000 a year on the car. I mostly drive it around here along the Tennessee River or in the nearby mountains (foothills of the Appalachians). I'm setting the price at $6000, no reserve. Good Luck!!! |
