EXTREMELY RARE JAGUAR After the XJ6 was discontinued in 1987, Jaguar continued to build the iconic Series 3 body in the form of the V12 Vanden Plas (the most luxurious interior level) in extremely limited numbers, strictly for the Canadian market from 1988 until 1992. This example is a 1989, of which only 69 were built. Given the low production numbers, the single-market distribution, and the fact that only two model years qualified for export to the US because of emissions and/or passive restraint regulations, there are certainly no more than a dozen or so of these in all of the United States... probably fewer.
This two-owner car, with 98,000 miles, led a pampered life, averaging less than 3,000 miles per year.
