Description of 1993 Jaguar XJS Convertible 2-Door

1993 Jaguar XJ-S 2 seat roadster convertible British Racing GreenVery Clean 65,XXX actual miles, clean AZ titleI purchased the car in 2016 from the estate of a Museum owner/collector in Arizona with 61k miles.I put new tires and a new battery in it and drove it tothe local British Auto Specialist who put a newfuel pump, platinum spark plugs, New A/C Compressor, Expansion valve, receiver/drier,retrofitted to r134a, new heater control valve, 4 shocks and a few other odds and ends. I drive it daily to and from work 5 days a week for the last year. Last month I had anew German Auto Tops Convertible top andnew headliner installed and the drivers seat bottom recovered with the correct leather and replaced the bottom floor carpet on drivers side with NOS carpet. All the manuals, toolkit, 2 ignition/door keys, 1 gas cap key. and 1 remote are included.AM/FM Radio, Cassette and 6 disc trunk mounted CD player all work. Runs perfect. The wood on the console is cracked/broken and needs to be re-veneered, there are several places that do this, you send them the old one to use as a core and they immediatelysend you a refinished one. The cost is about $200-300 with shipping.Note: the car is is not perfect. It is a 25 yr old car at this point, no doubt about it, but given the work I have put into it, it should be a reliable and fun car for quite some time.
My selling price is a bargain--retired and downsizing. Yes, you can find one of these for less, but it will need everything. Here, most of it has been done, and done right. Do your research and you will see what "everything" costs. The Jaguar XJS is only going to go up in value from here, if I had more room I'd keep it.
