This 1967 Jaguar 420 is a largely unmodified right-hand drive saloon powered by a 4.2L XK twin-cam inline-six linked to the rear wheels through a 4-speed w/overdrive manual transmission. THis car has 36,715 original miles. It was featured in Steve Kennedy’s 2003, Jaguar, The Classic Marquee hardcover book. The interior features leather seats and door panels with color-matched carpets and a wood dash and wood door surrounds. The condition of the seating surfaces and backs, door panels, carpet and B-pillar coverings are all in excellent condition with two exceptions. The driver's side B-pillar covering has frayed and come loose and there is a very minor hole in the driver's side door arm rest. The hand lever for the manual cruise control system has been removed. This car is rust free, has a fabulous exterior finish with bright chrome and a superb engine, drive train, brakes, and suspension. This car runs like a dream. Over its 51 years, it has always been garaged and consistently maintained and truly is in an amazing like new condition.
