This 1969 Jaguar E-type roadster was sold new to a US Army colonel who had the car repainted black during his ownership and drove it 81K miles. The seller is the 3rd owner and had added approx. 22K miles over 32 years. Power is supplied by a 4.2L DOHC inline-six paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox, and a 1986-88 refurbishment including engine rebuild, new wiring harness, repainting and interior. $26K in body and paint work was carried out in 2015-16 including rebuilding the carburetors, refinishing the steering wheel, fitting a new soft top with zipper rear window, some new chrome. The engine is strong and runs great. This Series II E-type comes with all invoices from 1987 and on, several spare parts, trickle charger and car cover. Chrome wire wheels with knock-off hubs and a chrome luggage rack have been added as well as three point harnesses added to each seat. The interior needs new leather and has minor rust on the floors. This car comes with a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate.
