This is a very. very. very (I state that three times) nice 1964 Jaguar 3. 8S sedan that is a "high quality" driver. A bit of a project from sitting. nbsp;but she needs nothing expensive! She retains her original matching number 3. 8 liter 6 cylinder engine along with her factory Borg Warner automatic transmission. She has not been driven in approximately two years. The major "restoration" work was performed about ten years ago. lightly driven. than stored: Rebuilt Engine. New Paint. Chrome Work. Complete Leather Interior (carpet to headliner). Wood Refinished. The Brake System & Suspension were gone over and later a complete Stainless Steel Exhaust was fitted. More recently. early 2012. both fuel tanks and sending units were replaced. along with the fuel pumps. the front suspension was rebuilt (including shocks). a wire wheel conversion with new hubs. the brakes gone over. the harmonic balancer was rebuilt. an electronic ignition was added. the water pump was replaced along with a few other things. I have a receipt for this most recent work totaling just over $10. 00. This 3. 8S starts instantly. runs ok on old/stale fuel. steers well and stops straight. She is sitting on a earlier set of Series II wire wheels that are not period correct or in par with the condition of the car. the older tires should be replaced. She comes with the original jack. knock off hammer. factory repair manual as well as the original owners / drivers manual. The tool kit is a little scratched up and is missing many of the tools. *** I have a large files of pictures *** that I can e-mail you if I get your direct e-mail address they are much larger and show much more of this car. the engine compartment. trunk. nbsp;undersides and the flaws.
