Description of 1959 Jaguar Other Saloon

Here's a fun driver. Enjoy an easy to maintain classic looking sedan. without the snobbery! A Chevy S10 donated the engine and rear axle. There are Chevy disc brakes on the front. and an upgrade to a later XJ6 steering rack. The automatic trans is a Turbo 350. The interior has redone seats. but needs some finishing. The rust-free body was stripped to the metal. and painted Wimbleton white. The steering wheel is original. it has some cracks and is covered with that blue cover. which you might want to change! The reserve is low. If perfectly restored. these are $40k to $60k cars. For a tiny fraction of that. have a great reliable driver that you can enjoy on the cheap!!The last photo is another car built by Stan. a two door roadster from a shortened Mk 1. Ask if you are curious! Please call Stan. the builder. with any questions. 8o5 61o 9413 The car is available to be test driven here on the central coast of California. it is garaged in Atascadero but can be shown to you in Santa Barbara by arrangement.
