Vehicle Details Last price drop before part out. There's $$$ worth of cost avoidance here going with this shell over a rusty one. No floors, no sills to do over. '61 MKII 3.8 automatic, Powr-lok differential. Yes, it needs everything. But I doubt you can find a cleaner starting point. Original paint, no rust repairs or accidents ever. No body filler present. Wire wheels x5, 4x chrome 1x painted. Power steering (extra pump, extra box included). Many extras and duplicates of mechanical parts, 2 sets seats all need leather. 2 sets wood. 1.5 sets chrome bits. Also included are all the correct pieces to convert to 4 speed overdrive. Correct MK II Moss gearbox, steering column, pedal box, driveshaft flywheel, etc. The original engine block and pistons were not salvageable due to sitting many years with water in the bores due to a bad head gasket. The cylinder block has been replaced with one originally from a MKIX of roughly the same year. The engine has been dry reassembled to ensure that no fasteners or parts got lost, but will need to be gone through. There will be no surprises though, and the original crank, rods and head are included. All the heavy parts are palletized and I have a method to load. The body shell will come with the dolly that it sits on, which will roll up onto a trailer. If that is a problem it can be made a roller again in just a few hours work as every single nut and bolt is accounted for. Note that if the car is reassembled to make it a "roller" the extra parts (doors, seats etc.) won't be able to be packed inside. There is an extra set of doors which are very rusty but complete and a great source of hard to find small parts. More trailer space will be required. I have owned this car for many years but have come to terms with the fact that I will not finish it due to a change of circumstance.
