1989 JEEP XJ. I PICKED THIS UP FROM A YOUNG GIRL THAT BROUGHT IT HERE FROM SOUTH CAROLINA. IT WAS BADLY SUN BURNED BUT NEARLY RUST FREE! IM A RETIRED COLLISION SHOP OWNER THAT ENJOYS BUILDING HOT RODS AND UNIQUE VEHICLES,SO WHEN I SAW THIS VEHICLE I KNEW IT WAS WORTH SAVING. FIRST I SENT IT TO THE SHOP TO HAVE IT CHECKED OUT. IT NEEDED A HEAD GASKET,HOSES,CLAMPS,BELTS,EXUAST WORK,STEERING COLUMN (ALOT OF PLAY IN OLD ONE) AND A FEW OTHER MINOR THINGS. WHEN I GOT IT BACK I BEGAN WORKING ON THE BODY AND THE 5 1/2 LIFT. IT HAS A R.C.X. CONTROL ARM RELOCATION KI, IFTED FRT. SPRINGS, E-ARCHED REAR SPRINGS W SHACKLES AND LIFT, EW RUSTYS SHOCKS,NEW RUSTYS TRACK BAR,NEW ROCK STAR TRANSFER CASE LOWERING KIT,NEW REAR BRAKE LINE,NEW GAS TANK (DAMAGED IT WHILE WORKING ON SUSPENSION), EW B.F.G.(KO) TIRES, EW PRO-COMP WHEELS AND A HOST OF OTHER NEW ITEMS....CHECK MY FEEDBACK AND KNOW THAT IM HONEST...NOW THE HONEST BAD THINGS,SHOCKS ARE NEW BUT MAY NEED LONGER ONE, HE INTERIOR IS DIRTY AND THE DRIVER SEAT HAS 2 RIPS AT THE SIDE,THE HEADLINER IS FLIMSY,THE DRIVER DOOR KEEPS LOCKING ITSELF (IM DISCONNECTING TODAY), HE FRT END SITS ABOUT 2 INCHES TO LOW BUT I HAVE THE NEW 2 1/2 IN ALUMINUIM SPRING PODS THAT ARE INCLUDED. OVER ALL THIS JEEP RUNS AND DRIVES GOOD WITH NO ISSUES ON THE DRIVE TRAIN AT ALL. ITS PLATED AND INSURED IN MY NAME...OH YEA. IM 63 YEARS OLD SO ITS NOT BEEN BEAT ON IN ANY WAY.
