Description of 19860000 Jeep CJ |
I am the 3rd owner of this special CJ7. This was one the last CJ's everproduced. It is a true collectors edition and Jeep installed the "Last of a great Breed" emblem on the dash. It is in excellent condition for a vehicle almost 30 years old. You can tell it has been taken care of over the years. It was originally from California and now spends its life in Arizona, o typical rust is not a concern. This Jeep is mostly stock and a new carborator is the only major mechanical repair this Jeep has ever needed while I've owned it. The stickers were long gone by the time I bought it, ut after some research I believe this a Laredo package. It has many things worth listing and I'm sure I will forget some things. Dana 44 rear end 5 speed Factory steel wheels new shocks new weber carb (I have the old stock one if you want it) Kentrol stainless steel front bumper with matching steel Kc fog lights newer Bf Goodrich All Terrain 30 inch tires new costco battery new sunpro tach tub has been rhino lined (not by me) all gauges work all lights work inside and out including 3 interior lights 1 in the hardtop and 2 by the floor up front spare tire and cover look original CJ7 logo and the red white and blue Amc logo are nice and intact steel factory rear bumperettes trailor hitch with plug for lights (works I have pulled a trailor several times) new front fender (had a minor dent when I bought it) windshield wipers and washer fluid work tilt/power steering power brakes fresh synthetic blend oil change this month (July 2015) Hardtop/hard doors original tire jack still inside engine compartment I'm sure there is more but that about covers it. I bought this jeep in 2007 and have had it in a garage since. Every once in a while I will see a very small drop of oil hanging from the pan but otherwise this jeep has no leaks. I have never needed to add any oil between changes. I have driven this up and down various hills/mountains with zero issues. No overheating or problems. 4 wheel drive high and low function very well.I never intended to sell this but I have 3 kids that want to go on an "adventure with dad" but not enough seat belts. I am now a Jeep guy and will be getting a newer 4 door instead. I can be reached at 928 227 6279 for any questions relating to the sale. |
