Description of 1966 Jeep Wagoneer |
This Jeep is in good condition considering it's age and being unrestored. It ran and drove before I began working on it. The following are items part-way through being worked on: Carburetor (new)Suspension (old leafs cracked, ew 4" lift from BJ's Off Road to come with Jeep)Axles (original rear axle needed a gear set, ave a matched set from a 1978 Wagoneer to go under it)Fuel System (original fuel tank was rusted, ew poly tank under Jeep, eeds mounts tweaked, olley red fuel pump installed on frame rail) Overall I have to go with the Jeep:New doublereservoir brakemaster cylinderFull 4" suspension kit from BJ's Off RoadFront and rear Dana 44 axles from 1978 WagoneerNew 2 barrel Holley carburetor (original was 2 barrel)Steel timing gear set (original is phenolic (or something along those lines), ngine is an interference engine)Timing cover gaskets Overall the Jeep needs:Axles and suspension installedA steering linkage made to fit with front axleCarburetor installedTiming set installedFuel tank mounts dialed-inSpeedometer cable oiled (needledbouncesat speed)Rear quarter panels have some rust issues, he bottom could use replaced, long with a little above each rear wheel well. The front passenger side fender has a crease in it, hould be able to be knocked out. The front seat is torn, ear seat is getting there, ut in decent shape. A previous owner replaced several door panels with wood paneling painted black (they don't look horrible, was definitely going to replace them though), s well as painted the headliner black, nd installed black carpet. Original interior color was blue. The rear hatch needs weatherstripping properly installed (window is snug rolling up) and window guides (have to pull the window towards you slightly when rolling down). Overall the floor is solid, ave a repair on the driver's side and some rust (with a hole) on the passenger's side. It has a modern Delco alternator installed to eliminate theseparatevoltage regulator. Included pictures are from when I bought the Jeep, ictures of it's currentconditionareavailable, hoot me a message and I'll be more than happy to send any you would like to see, nd answer anyquestionsyou have. I'll work on getting some more detailed shots included in the meantime. The Jeep is listed to see what I may be able to get out of it, f you have a fair offer I will certainly consider it! Otherwise I will continue to work on it. Local pickup only, r I will be happy to work with a vehicle shipper for you (i.e. be home when they come to pick it up) however all legwork for shipping is to be done on your end. Comes with a clean Ohio title, our name and address are required to set it up for transfer. |
