Description of 1984 Jeep Other

Selling this original J10 for a friend. Title is clear and this truck is a real survivor. The underhood pics display the story. The first and original ownership of this truck was changed between two good friends years ago (who now have passed on) and has been stored under cover with onlyoccasional use. Truck was bought new, itled and owneddriven in North Carolina since day one. The truck was painted some years ago for reasons I cannot verify. I'm assuming the clear coat released like some others I've seen. There is no body damage and the truck is rust free. The exhaust is legal and factory single outlet but has been repaired. The entire undercarriage is new looking, ith no modifications or repairs. There has been no restoration work, ust a painted exterior that I cannot date. I overhauled the carburetor, hanged the oil and filter and installed a new radiator. The original radiator was leaking and was original. I dropped the fuel tank and replaced the rubber fuel lines, leaned the tank and installed a sender assembly. The truck runs extremely well. The steering and brakes are tight as you would expect on a 34 thousand mile truck. The AC does not work, t has a leak. I did not repair it in case a buyer wished to restore it back to R12. It has a R134a retro fitting and I filled it to see if the compressor would run, t did. All of the emission components are still connected and operational with the exception of the air intake tube that connects to the fender-to-air cleaner assembly-notice in photo. Seat is healthy with some marking. but no tears or holes. It has some nicks and dings and scratches but it's straight and it's real. If you're serious and want to inspect in person it is at my business and we can stand under it and drive it.
