Description of 1968 Jeep Commando Jeepster Convertible |
| True convertible model w/ Dauntless V-6 engine. Purchased in 2003 to restore. Worked on restoration 2003-2005. Has been in garage since that time. Removed body tub, tripped and grinded frame and underside of body, nd coated frame and underside of body with POR-15. Zero rust on body tub. Typical Jeepster rust on front quarter panels. Repaired gas tank, ave replacement brake lines not yet installed. Needs convertible top (frame in place). Not driveable due to wiring and brake lines being removed, ut did run at beginning of restoration in 2003.Selling as is. Will need to be shipped or towed to destination at buyer's expense. |
