You are looking at a 1978 JEEP CJ 5 that has beenresto-mod and all the crazy work has been done. It just needs a few things to be finished and call it perfect.
Here is the list of the goodies:- Engine is the famous AMC 360 V8 and this is also fitted with Edelbrock Performer Manifold and Carburetor. Electric cooling fan to be safe when wheeling and Headers and side pipes to make sure heads are turning!!
- Front disc brakes are now power assisted by a brand new booster and master cylinder.
- Electric fuel pump with adjustable fuel pressure regulator.
- Racing approved fuel cell and brand new battery relocation system took the place of the rear seat.
- 35" Super Swampers on alloy rims makes the effort of a 4" suspension lift + 2" body lift allworthwhile... New dropped pitman arm also installed on thepower steering box.
- The body is full fiberglass with one piece nose clip and it's immune of rust and corrosion. The frame is in excellent conditions.
- New EZ Harness installed along with LED taillights, everse lights, irectionals andcontrol flip switches. Only the headlights aretraditional.
- All NEWEquusGauges in electric version.
- New Racing steering wheel and New Racing Seats with 4 points harness. Seats areadjustable andreclinable.
What needs to be done:- Theprevious owner had the hood/clip unlatched when a sudden bump in the road smashed the clip into the windshield. The windshield is new and it needs to be painted, he damage on the top of the hood is minor, ut it needs to be addressed before refreshing the paint of the whole exterior. I'm presently working on this, o, t may be done or at least ready to paint with your favorite color.
- NOTE JUST IN AS OF 11/24/15 : A NEW one piece nose has been secured and it's included with the sale. $470 value that solves the problem of repairing the fiberglass damage. Just transfer the lights and harness to the new nose, aint and enjoy!!!
