Up for auction is a very nice, ow mileage (65,000) rust free 1979 Jeep Cherokee "S". When was the last time you saw a Cherokee "S" 4 door! This Cherokee "S" is extremely clean, as low miles, s nicely equipped, UST FREE, nd almost 100% original. The Jeep is an absolutely beautiful color and very nicely equipped with tilt, port steering wheel, igh end wheels, M/FM/CB (unit comes with Jeep but not installed), nder hood light, lock and the rare Cherokee "S" option. You will definitely stand apart from the crowd in this Cherokee! I get thumbs up every time I take it out.

It is getting hard to find original rust free Jeeps from this era making this Cherokee "S" a real treasure! No rust, s close to original as they come, span>all accessories functioning (except clock). Mechanically this Jeep is as solid as they come. The 360 motor runs great, as good oil pressure, o leaks and is just extremely solid. The Jeep drives and stops straight - Unlike most old Jeeps you don't have to "Drive It" but can relax and enjoy the ride. The Quadratrac operates smoothly and the transfer case is quite. No squeaks, attles, ops, rips or slobbers! I would not be afraid to jump in the truck today and drive it to New York . Transfer case, hassis, -Joints, ear differential and engine were just all recently serviced

Tires are like new Michelins. The tire selection on this rig speaks to the care and level of service it has received. Never neglected and always treated to top shelf parts and service!

With the exception of the top, he paint on this truck is 100% original. The paint shines nicely but is 37 years old and has the minor imperfections you would expect for a gently used vehicle of this age. Most noticeably is the passenger's side and the rear tailgate. Both have fading, ite checking and sport some classy patina! The Cherokee "S" decals are also original and are cracking. Absolutely no structural rust in the body or frame! The trim is all there and nice with the minor dings you would expect on a 37 year old vehicle. The grill has one small piece broken and missingby the passenger's side headlight (see photos).

The interior on the truck is nice and near perfect! The Cherokee "S" interior is so cool and unique - I love it! The dash pad is uncracked, he seats and door panels are perfect and the headliner is very nice with only three blemishes at the rear of the vehicle (see photos). The carpet is nice and very clean but is a tiny bit short on the passenger's side by the kick panel and does not fit up under the kick panel perfectly. Nothing major but worth mentioning. The pictures really speak for themselves, he interior is just as nice as it appears, lmost unbelievable!

As far as the instrument panel, nstruments and gadgets, ith the exception of the clock, re in working order. Heater and fan work great as do all other instruments and interior lights. The Cherokee "S" instrument panel and trim are very nice and the aftermarket AM/FM stereo works nicely! As mentioned many times over, his is just a solid, onest Jeep and not something that has been thrown together for resale.

In this day and age of thrown together or over-restored rigs it is becoming impossible to find an honest, nrestored, ow mileage original rig. With this Jeep Cherokee "S" you have found just that!
