1963 Kaiser Willys Jeep Pick Up Truck. Original engine replaced with slightly later model, mooth running, hevrolet straight 6 cylinder. Gas tank currently removed to be flushed out and cleaned, ill be included, ut not installed. Engine started and runs well from alternate fuel source, two gallon gas can. Have done nothing with this truck other than get the engine running and replace the brake master cylinder. Jeep Gladiator pick up trucks are something one does not often see. This particular vehicle purchased in New Mexico, pparently used in some type of commercial service in that region. Original Willys Jeep color code "Spruce Tip Green." There was rust on the driver's side floor, ften the case when windshield seal leaks and moisture collects underneath the floor mat. This small section of the floor cut out and replaced with a steel plate, ot attached, ut heavy and does what it was intended to do, ee pics. Tires, ounted on aftermarket rims, ave very little tread but hold air. No ignition or door key. Wiring needs to be organized as the truck evidently had a CB radio which was removed at some point. All glass is good as 53 year old original glass can be. Kelly Mfg. locking front hubs are included, ot Warn. Doing some research on this these hubs, hey were the preference of many Jeep purchasers of the period in that they have heavy duty external brass components and the "in" "out" lock positions are more easily accessible than the partially recessed Warn hub locking control mechanism. Battery box was removed but comes with the truck. A 12 volt battery will be required to start it. Right front fender shows signs of minor contact with another vehicle or stationary object. There are photos one can find online of a Jeep (retro) Gladiator Pick Up Truck "concept vehicle," however this is a rare opportunity to own the real thing. Please keep in mind this is a 53 year old vehicle, s such there are no warranties, tated or implied. The vehicle is being sold as is, here is. It is for sale locally and therefore the seller reserves the right to end the auction early.
