Ok I bought this to restore the way I wanted. Due to another baby on the way and lack of time I feel it's time to let someone else take it over.ÂÂÂÂI am the 3rd owner. The jeep came from PA and was only used for plowing snow on the homeowners driveway. The second owner brought it to Florida. I only drive it on the island to the store and back about 2-3 times a week. The mileage is correct and accurate at 38k.ÂÂÂÂThe motor runs flawless starts up on a dime every time. The good: New battery New carberator New powering steering pump New stronger steering shaft New power steering lines Original jeep tilt steering column (hard to find) New grill with projector headlights and turn signals New flat fenders New steering stablizer New rocker guards There more I'm sure It runs and drives perfectly shifts smooth 4x4 works perfect. Keep it mind it's a 3 speed so she don't like goin over 45/50. I also have a brand new spare wheel and rupee for it. It is on 30's now The bad: Steering is a little loose I believe it's the shackel bushings. But it's also from 1979 lol The only rust threw on the body is where the high beam switch is and a picture is shown on it. The windshield is cracked and will need to be replaced. Pictures are posted of the worst spots. There is some l-channel and c-channel attached to the body and welded. Cash or cashiers check only.
