1985 Jeep CJ-7, 6 cylinder, 4 speed manual, 119k miles on odometer, with $3,000 in engine work and rebuilt 4-speed manual transmission, new clutch and throw out bearing, new rear main seal, starter, rebuilt carburetor, and battery. - all professionally done by an ASE certified auto repair shop with receipts (less than 200 miles ago). Body and frame are in excellent condition - very clean and straight with no rust. New rotor and distributor and plugs, I bought the Jeep because the body and frame are in incredible condition which is a rare find with Jeep CJs. After buying the Jeep, I immediately had an ASE auto repair shop inspect and repair the engine and rebuild the transmission - the engine and transmission are ready to go. I bought the Jeep with the wheels and tires - 35" Pit Bull Rocker tires (35x14.50-15LT). The tires are almost new and the retail on the tires and wheels are $2,500 +. This is the perfect Jeep if you are looking for a CJ-7 to drive as-is (just passed inspection in April) or would be an easy restore with paint and interior. The Jeep will need new seats, including a rear seat and seatbelts and exhaust. The blinkers and windshield wipers are also not working but I am told will be an easy fix. Comes with an aftermarket hardtop. I bought the Jeep in April thinking I would have more time to enjoy it but I do not - too busy with work and travel. I just start it once a week and take it around the block.
