Description of 1988 Jeep Wrangler YJ |
I bought this Jeep 4 years ago and have put approximately 15k miles on her. Most of the modifications were done by me or a professional shop. She four wheels like a dream, and has insane clearance for a daily driver. Heat works. This vehicle draws all types of attention in parking lots, on the road, and in the mountains. Feel free to PM me with any questions. I will not ship/deliver this vehicle for the buyer, so it is the buyer's responsibility to make arrangements for transporting the Jeep to its destination. I also have the Jeep listed on the local Denver Craigslist and have had several people interested. Won't last long! Here are the specs: 1988 Jeep Wrangler YJ original body painted surf blue pearl color Frame has NO RUST on it, it is in incredible shape Lifted SOA (spring relocated over the axle) on stock springs with new Crown rear springs Drop pitman arm to correct steering issues, drives straight on the highway no problem 4.2L 258ci straight six engine with an upgraded MC2100 carburetor (makes inclines a cinch) Carb was done by ehrmannmp here on eBay who is down in Colorado Springs Brand New AX15 transmission from advance adapters Clutch and flywheel done 10k miles ago NP231 transfer case with new 23 spline input shaft and rear SYE (slip yoke eliminator) Custom rear driveshaft with larger 1350 u joint that will not break Professionally installed Ford 8.8 from a 2000 Ford explorer with new 4.88 gears Original high pinion Dana 30 front with 4.88 gears and spidertrax wheel spacers MB 15 inch alloy wheels (lightweight) 35x12.5r15 General Grabber red letters Custom on board air setup with belt driven york compressor (it is fast to air up tires) gloss black hard top in very good condition full hard doors painted surf blue pearl stock sport roll bar Brand new windshield with top tint and rust prevention along the window frame New 6 speaker sound bar and JVC head unit Monstaliner interior black New Corbeau racing seats (can be used with a five point harness) New radiator New clutch master cylinder New M.O.R.E. polyurethane motor mounts new rubber valve gasket Removable 6 inch fender flares Poison Spyder rock sliders Hard rock 4x4 rear bumper with tire carrier and hi lift jack mount I'm sure I am missing lots of other upgrades that I have done along the way... Other accessories included: Bikini top for summer Air hose and trigger for refilling tires original manual Cargo rack for rear bumper I have thrown thousands of dollars into this Jeep and so my loss is your gain. All of the parts/accessories are like new that I have added on! The MC2100 carb upgrade makes the Jeep unreal for steep climbs and high altitude. You wouldn't even know it was a carburetor under the hood. Also with the low end grunt of the 4.2 you have no problems crawling over challenging obstacles! Stout drive train and amazing condition for the frame and body of a Jeep this age. 4x4, rock crawler, off road, toyota, ford, chevy, colorado, mountains, daily driver, |
