NO RESERVE AUCTION, HIGHEST BIDDER WINS!!1-OWNER 1976 Jeep CJ-5 with the 304 cubic inch 2 barrel carb AMC V8 Engine and a 3-Speed Manual Transmission. Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) = 3750 lbs. We took this Jeep on trade from the original owner, who bought it brand new in 1976. He kept the Jeep in storage for the majority of its life and only drove it during the summer months. We do specialize in newer Jeep Wranglers, but admit to not have very much knowledge on the CJ-5, so please take a look at the 30+ pictures and we will be glad to help answer any questions that you may have. The odometer shows 43K miles, and the owner did tell us that was the actual mileage, but of course we have no way to confirm this. The Jeep's condition, both cosmetically and mechanically, is pretty amazing. We sent it through our normal inspection process, and only the typical fluid changes and preventative maintenance needed to be done. It drives great. The AMC V8 engine runs great and the 3-Speed Manual Transmission shifts through all of the gears with ease. Everything seems to work properly, including the 4x4. It was traded in with a soft top, and the 3 rear windows, which looks to be nearly brand new and new looking soft doors as well.
