Description of 1984 Jeep Other CJ-7 Renegade

I have a 1984 Jeep CJ-7 up for auction. The Jeep had a 6-cylinder from the factory. nbsp; but has been changed over to a 304 V8. Previous owner stated the engine has about 30. 00 miles on it since rebuild with a new clutch. pressure plate and release bearing installed also. I cannot verify this for sure. but can only state that it runs excellent. does not smoke. does not leak. does not rattle and starts up the 1st time everytime and the clutch feels strong with no shimmy or slip. It has an aluminum intake. msd ignition. new edelbrock 4-barrell carburetor. new fuel pump. headers with dual flowmaster exhaust. new napa battery and oil change with all the fluids checked and topped off if needed. The manual hubs. transfer case and 4 wheel drive works as they should with no problems. The transmission is a 4-speed manual that shifts smooth with no problems. The Jeep has a matching set of 33x12. 50x15 mud/rough terrain tires that have at least 80% tread mounted on aluminum bullet hole type wheels. The spare is good and is the same size. but not the same tread. The Jeep has disc brakes on the front and drums on the rear that work as they should with no problems. The steering is manual and has some play in it. The Jeep drives pretty good if you stay under 55 mph. It will try to "wander" a little if you get up to 60 or 65 mph. It has a 4" Skyjacker suspension lift with dual steering stabilizers. The frame on this Jeep has no rust thru anywhere and no welded patches anywhere. The body has some rust showing with 1 place rusted thru on the passengers side rocker panel and some places showing bubbles where it has been repaired before. The floorpans have some rust. with the drivers side being the worst. It has some places as big as a pencil that's rusted thru and 1 place the size of a quarter. The Jeep is 30+ years old. so I guess some rust can be expected. It has a lot of stainless trim pieces. nbsp; hinges etc. It has a hardtop with soft doors. I don't have the hard doors. The Jeep has new seats in it with a flip and fold in the rear. All the seat belts are in the Jeep also. All the lights. heater controls and gauges work. It has aftermarket mechanical oil pressure and temperature gauges installed with all the other factory gauges working. including the gas gauge. Windshield wipers work. Mechanically this Jeep is sound and ready to be driven this winter with no known problems. Cosmetically it could use some work if you wanted a restored Jeep or it would be fine to drive it as is. I have a set of side steps that are included with the Jeep to make it a little easier to get up into it. Feel free to ask any questions and I will answer within 1 day as I check my email daily.
