1985 Jeep CJ7 4spd manual, 119k miles, solid

1985 Jeep CJ-7, 6 cylinder, 4 speed manual, 119k miles on odometer. Lots of work already done (see list below).I bought the Jeep earlier this year thinking I would have more time to enjoy it but I do not - too busy with work and travel. I just start it once a week and take it around the block.

Over $7,000 already invested, All work done this year, less than 200 miles ago by a professional mechanic (have all receipts):

Rebuilt 4-speed manual transmission

New clutch and throw out bearing

New rear main seal

New starter, coil and solenoid

Rebuilt original carburetor

New battery and battery box

New rotor, distributor and plugs

Brand new exhaust from manifold to tailpipe

Recent, almost new 35" Pit Bull Rocker tires (35x14.50-15LT) and wheels (retail on the tires and wheels alone are $2,500 +).

The engine and drivetrain run perfectly. No leaks or smoke.

The Jeep was an extraordinary find as it appears that the mileage is original based on researching the VIN. The body and frame are in great condition - body has minimal rust in two very small areas in the floor. Easy fix, I have the replacement panel which will go with the Jeep. This is the perfect Jeep if you are looking for a CJ-7 to drive as-is (has current inspection, passed in April) or would be an easy restore with paint and interior.
