My Jeep was restored approximately five years ago; however, it was kept about 90% original. This Jeep originally came from Texas and is rust free as you can see in the pictures of both the exterior and undercarriage. This Jeep was restored to be a driven, fully functional vehicle, not a show car. It would not take very much effort, though, to make this Jeep a show Jeep if that is your goal. For those of you who may have always wanted a very nice Scrambler without the headache of having to re-build one, this is the Jeep you have been waiting to see. My Scrambler has 111,165 original miles, stainless steel hinges, and accessories. It has been coated underneath with rust protectant and has a spray in bed liner in the bed, the cab, and each side of the bulk-head. This was done not too hide any rust but to protect against future issues. The seats, center console, door panels, and dash were all replaced with new parts, but the dash as developed a very small crack in the center. The paint and clear-coat are in great condition with only a couple of minor chips. As I said, this was restored to be driven, and I drive this Jeep two to three times per week weather permitting. I do keep it in my garage, and it has never seen so much as a rain drop. The engine is a very strong 258 (will grab a second), and it is very clean, as you can see. It has been equipped with a small two inch lift. It gives it enough height to look good but not stupid. The Bf Goodwrenchs are almost new with 95% tread. Of course the top and doors are removable and it looks superb naked! It shifts like a Jeep, and it rides like a Jeep. I would not be uncomfortable driving this Jeep anywhere. I recently drove it over three hours from my home to the beach. There are no issues that I am aware of that need to be fixed or replaced. It starts every time. The gauges (except for the clock) are all original and functioning. The clock has been replaced. Turn signals, wipers, and the horn operate correctly. The radio is not hooked up. I have added a picture to show that. It never was important to me to have it working. This Jeep is for sale locally and on other sites. So, if you want it...GET IT! Every time I drive it, every time I go somewhere on it, inevitably people will come to it and start gawking and asking questions...every time! Even people who are not "Jeep people" say how good it looks and how impressive it is. I want to sell it as it is time for me to let it go, but I do not HAVE to sell it. Please do not low-ball me and waste my time. I will consider decent offers. I urge anyone to come by and look at it if at all possible. I will help as much as possible with shipping the Jeep to you, but shipping or pick up is the buyers responsibility. I would like a $500 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours if you are lucky enough to own it. The remaining balance can be in cash (in person) or a cashier's check. You must know that I will not release the Jeep until the check clears the bank. That is typically 10 business days. You or a representative of yours (such as a shipper) must also take possession of the Jeep within 15 days of the check clearing the bank as I am not in the storage business. If you have any questions, please call or text me 252 343 2910. I live on the east coast. No calls or texts after 8pm please. I am a private seller not a third party or dealer. This is MY Jeep. Thank you for looking and reading about it.
