Body off frame restoration of 1968 Jeep Kaiser M 715 4 x 4. This has been a complete rebuild and modernization project. Frame, engine, transmission, transfer case of 1969 Jeep J3000. Truck is licensed and titled as 1969 Jeep J3000. Clear title in hand
Buick “DAUNTLESS” 350 V8 5.7L engine: horsepower=230 ; torque=350; highest torque in class.
4-speed T-18 manual transmission: renowned, heavy-duty truck transmission
Dana 20 Transfer case with dual stick shifter setup: outstanding design and remains one of the strongest and most refined of all the popular transfer cases.
Dual stick shifter allows 6 possible drive arrangements: FWD high, FWD low, RWD high, RWD low, 4WD high, and 4WD low.
Professionally rebuilt Rochester Quadrajet R4-M4MC carburator: Rebuilt by Carburator USA.
New Aluminum radiator; mechanical fan (already wired for electric fan and will include electric fan, just in case you want to convert to electric)
Dana 60 front and GM corporate 14 bolt rear axles. New hub seals, bearings and races.
Locking hubs.
Suspension: New Rancho leaf springs in front; 8 new Rancho RS5000 shocks (2 on each wheel).
New Transmission fluid, Transfer case fluid, and differential fluids.
Brakes: Hydroboost brake booster with new hydro hoses and inline filter; New 4 wheel disc brake rotors and calipers. Rear calipers are TSM manufacturing calipers with rear emergency brake. New brake hoses. Brakes work awesome.
Heavy duty RuffStuff crossover high steer knuckle arms, Heavy Duty drag link, Heavy Duty tie rod, all new heavy duty tie rod ends. Power steering. Rancho steering stabilizer. All this adds up to awesome, sturdy and easy steering even with those giant 42" tires.
Fuel tank: 50 gallon fuel tank.
New fiberglass hardtop from Boyce equipment (removable).
Wheels and Tires: New Procomp 7069 alloy 17” x 9”; New Goodyear Wrangler MT/R with Kevlar 42” x 14.5” tires.
