This may be considered an unmolested CJ 7 and is suited for those with longs legs & big bellies that can't fit into a CJ 5. It appears to have a 2" lift and some of the dash gauges have been replaced with after market. One dash knob is missing......History is scanty with mileage undocumented. It's highly possible the engine had a rebuild from the condition of the gaskets and the smooth performance & sound of the engine. I purchased this V8/ auto combo because I purchased one similar new in 1976 and preferred it over a 4 spd. for off road lugging a trailer without wheel slippage when shifting. I purchased this particular vehicle almost a yr ago when my 99 Range Rover went "wacko" and the repair was more than its market value. The economic decision was to keep the now reliable Range Rover. When purchased, I established a base line. All wires, plugs were replaced. Carb rebuilt, along with power steering pump & power brake booster & upscale radio.. Included is a Bikini top. All window minor deterioration at each end. Wiper, lights directional s all work and finally the transmission works excellent. Floors have no rust now or ever. However a rust spot was repaired on the fender adjacent to the battery ( Battery acid ?). No apparent accidents.. Spare is new and all four tires are matched with less than 5,000 miles and finally Tow Bar with electrical connections. Remember 41 rs old. I would call it very good to excellent.
