This 1984 Jeep CJ7 is one of those great custom builds that celebrates so much history that it will always have you showing it off. After all, the big 360 V8 under the hood, fully-coordinated modern paint package, and plenty of tough 4x4 prowess makes this the one that will attract attention wherever it goes and since it's a Jeep, that means it goes a ton of places!Let's start off with the paint, because we know it caught your eye as quickly as it caught ours. When this went through its restoration, it was given the modern Jeep shade of Rescue Green. CJs are meant to be a great sunny day friend, and so there's enough metallic and clearcoat in this paint to really let it pop in the sunlight. The total effect is a cool impression that feels modern while also recalling the CJ's military lineage. And we know you love the full black out trim package that is applied to the green. The bumpers, mirrors, fender flairs, headlights, and full Renegade livery are all rendered in black to enhance this serious attitude. Even the 15-inch American Racing wheels were blacked out. And more than just look like a capable machine, take some time to check out the functional upgrades, too. This one has everything from tow hooks in the bumpers, to LED taillights for people to see you better even in the darkest wilderness. Because owning a Jeep is an outdoor experience, this one pays special attention to matching the interior with the exterior. It starts with the bikini top and vinyl seats that coordinate with all the blacked-out elements on the body. The front buckets are comfortable on the trail, and when it's time to go out on the town, they clean up in a snap. The three-spoke steering wheel is grippy and light in the best Jeep tradition. And the big speedo and heat/defrost control are right in the center of it all. Plus, this one has all the right upgrades, from a more modern roll bar for security, to an AM/FM/CD stereo so you can take all the best tunes with you out into nature. The standout presentation of this CJ doesn't end when you open the hood. The way the full engine bay is painted Rescue Green, as well as the valve covers and air topper, make for the kind of package worthy of taking to the car show. Plus, as you might have noticed there is some serious V8 power under the hood. The 360 cubic-inch V8 is borrowed from a Gladiator/Wagoneer model line, which not only provides extra power, but also is a cool way to celebrate more Jeep family connections. This V8 is already a great power upgrade, but the build added even more muscle with features such as an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, MSD ignition, and performance headers that feed a throaty dual exhaust system. You even get the best control over this enhanced motor thanks to the three-speed manual transmission. But this Jeep's power is more than just about being a muscle machine; it's also about taking you deeper into the wilderness. That's why you also have a strong Dana 20 two-speed transfer case that feeds the beefy Dana 30 front end and Dana 44 rear. The lifted suspension plenty travel when it really counts, and the all terrain tires are engineered to find traction on any surface. Control is also well in hand with power steering and front disc brakes. This 4x4 has been enhance to look better and go further all while celebrating some cool history.
