Description of 1991 Jeep Cherokee Laredo Sport Utility 4-Door |
You are bidding on a 1991 one family owned Jeep Cherokee. We bought this from my wife's elderly uncle and he inherited from his father. It has only 53,xxx miles on it. Clean title, no wrecks. Our only reason for selling is that we don't need it as we enter retirement. It spends much more time inside our home's garage than it is driven and it is time for it to go to another loving home. Again, it has always been gently driven by mature adults and never taken off road. It is completely stock, the only after market parts are the Baja driving lights that were added to replace the factory driving lights. It has never been driven in the winter any further north of North Carolina and kept off salty roads because we stay home when it snows. So the paint shines nicely(a few paint chips here and there but really good for a 26 year old vehicle!) and NO RUST. No curb rash on any of the wheel rims. Fullsize spare is mounted on aluminum rim identical to the other 4 rims. Tires have good tread as seen in pics and all 4 are same brand and model. It starts quickly and runs smooth. The 4.0 liter inline 6 cylinder runs great and turns less than 2000 rpms at 65mph. It gives us 22mpg at 60mph on the highway. This engine has a wonderful reputation for longevity and reliability. It is a comfortable vehicle to ride in. New items in past 2 years include: Baja driving lights installed to replace the factory driving lights Muffler and tailpipe Shock absorbers Rear leaf springs to address sagging which is common on older Cherokees Synthetic fluid for rear axle, front axle, and transfer case Automatic transmission fluid replaced New Safelite windshield because of a rock ding The only known issues have no negative affect on drivability or reliability: the headliner was sagging and that has been corrected(see pics)with upholstery type pins. Hoodliner has tear(see pics). Maintenance is up to date. Next oil change is due at 55k miles. We use 10w-30 synthetic in it. We would not hesitate to drive this Cherokee across the entire USA. Brakes inspected and plenty of life remains. It is ready to go anywhere. Bid with confidence, I have 100 percent feedback and want to keep it that way. The new owner will not be disappointed. Will not ship but of course will assist with coordination with your shipper. Title will be FedEx over night once full payment received, or you can pick up the title in person. |
