Description of 1972 Jeep CJ

Full frame off resto-mod 1976 CJ-7 with a 1972 title/vin. Tub, front clip, tailgate, frame is all original. 383 small block chevy stroker engine producing 460 HP at the flex plate followed by a freshlyrebuilt, race ready TH350, and a Dana 20 t-case. Dana 44 in the rear with 4.10 gears and a posi, OEM dana 30 in the front with 4.10's. Engine has $10K invested into it, full blue print, port matched, everything is top of the line; it is 10.5:1 compression, MSD 6A ignition, Edelbrock E-Tec-200 heads, keith black pistons, roller rockers, electric water pump, 2 electric fans, custom ram air, Be Cool 4 core aluminum radiator, nascar battery, and dual remote oil filters. Also has secondary external trans filter, trans and oil coolers and trans pan in tubed for cooling, painless wiring harness, and stainless steel exhaust. 2.5" skyjacker suspension, (less then 3K miles), (5) 31" BFG Mud Terrain tires on Vision 15" rims, TDK crossmember, Bestop,Full custom dash with Auto meter gauges, custom front and rear bumpers, rear has swing gate for spare. Comes with spare starter, trans pan, lower half doors (current passenger door has a small tear in it). Battery kill switch in glove box, ignition kill switch, removable steering wheel, separately switched extra back up lights, Rockford fosgate speakers in the dash, pioneer speakers in the rear. no head unit installed but comes separate, no amp but wiring is all in place. Has a center consul and comes with a Tuffy center consul powder coated to match exterior accessories. Newer brake booster with Corvette master cylinder just installed and it now stops on a dime. Jeep has only seen light off-road (construction sites), never been on a race track (but I wish I did), always stored inside until a few months ago now it sits under a car port. Never saw snow, never saw rain.

The bad: Jeep has several paint chips (picsattached)but I do have a pint or so of touch up paint, has had body work done and it is starting to show - no rust that I can see, but small cracks and push outs in the mud. small oil leak, small trans leak, fuel gauge does not work (not sure if sender or gauge is bad) Front drive shaft hits new trans pan but is not currently installed. Front bumper has some scars from a bad tow job (trans blew, rebuilt and much stronger) Tailgate has 3 large holes from first concept spare tire carrier. Jeep is in no longer show quality but is still a beauty and fun to drive!

Why? I am only selling this because of space and a new project coming in. I never thought I would sell it, to the point where I have it tattooed on my back. I built this to last a lifetime, it just won't be mine! Over $50K and years of work invested in this one of a kind Jeep.
