Description of 1988 Jeep Wrangler |
Up for sale is my fully build 1988 Jeep Wrangler. For details on the full build please see below. Just completed a 4k mile trip from Arkansas to Moab with no issues. Unlike most "crawler" jeeps which are stripped down to bare bones, this jeep has been made to have all the features of a comfortable daily driver whiole still being able to tackle difficult trails Engine is a 4.2 "mini-stroker" based on a 4.0 block with a longer stroke crankshaft. Steering comes courtesy of a PSC big-bore steering box, high slow pump system with remote reservoir. Brakes run from a hydro-boost system from Hydratech brakes with a Wilwood master cylinder, Adjustable proportioning valve, Centric premium drilled and slotted rotors with premium centric calipers and pads. This thing is built better than most any Jeep ever came from the factory and no expense was spared. Im moving on to my next project (Jeep Comanche MJ) and have no more room for this Jeep. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks Full Details: This has been a 5 year project and is now complete. This is one of the most detailed Jeep YJ builds you will ever see. And the Jeep theme has been kept throughout the process by sticking with Jeep based parts and accessories. Instead of ripping out the straight 6 in favor of a Chevy v8, I decided to build a custom Jeep stroker engine that runs beautifully and has plenty of torque. It was built to tackle most moderate/difficult trails while still being able to drive comfortably down the highway. This is a seriously capable rig and is not a toy meant for a first time driver. Here is a list of the modifications done. This is not a complete list but is fairly extensive. For any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
