1972 Jeep CJ-5 factory 304 V-8. 3 speed manual transmission- Headers New wheels Hydro clutch BFG Mud Terrains-95% tread Matching spare tire New interior-waterproof/sun proof/stain proof fabric (same material for convertible tops) 9 quart oil pan Power disc brakesDual gas tanks Tilt steeringPower steering Two tops-Bimini and full soft with doorsTow bar New paint-all steel. no fiberglass body parts Factory "Renegade" decalsNew battery CD/Stereo system Full "family" style roll cageNew seatbelts (4 point harnesses for the back) Approximately 19. xx miles since total rebuild on motor and driveline Please read further: I bought this Jeep over two years ago and it didn't look like this! I bought the Jeep from a gentleman in Northridge. alifornia who had owned it since 1982. He rebuilt the factory AMC 304 and just drove it as a toy. He installed the new Stewart Warner gauges right after the rebuild. The odometer reads 19xxx miles. There is no documentation on the motor. but it is very tight and there is no doubt in my mind that the story is true. VIN shows that it is a factory V-8. When I bought it. I freshened the motor up which included. electronic ignition. fuel pump. nbsp;fan. belts. hoses. exhaust. new H20 pump. re-cored the radiator. rebuilt carb. plugs. wires. nbsp;and several other things to make it reliable. It's got unbelievable torque and the exhaust sounds great! I have driven this Jeep on long trips. taken it off-road. and towed it behind my motorhome with ease. I have owned several muscle cars and 4 wheel drives. but nothing from AMC. This is one of the most reliable vehicles that I ever owned and would drive it anywhere! This Jeep made me a believer. If you are looking for a hotrod/muscle car/4x4/awesome summer vehicle wrapped in one-this is it. It's thumbs-up and compliments wherever you go! Why am I selling it: The family is getting bigger and Jeep seems like it's getting smaller! I would like to get another 4x4 that has more room for my growing family and/or something I can still tow behind the motorhome.
