I'm selling my 1978 CJ-7. This is a clean Texas jeep with no rust. Much work was put into this Jeep and I have a folder filled with receipts that will go to the new owner. Here are the specifics of the jeep: 4. 0 engine I6 with approximately 119. 00 miles. Automatic 3-speed tf999. Dana 300 transfer case. Front Dana 44 with 4. 56 gears/OX Locker. Rear Dana 44 with 4. 56 gears and Detroit Locker. 4. 5 inch lift with Brand New 35s BF Mud-Terrain KM2 (Tires alone were $1. 00). Ford Taurus Electric Fan with low and high outputs. Tatoons custom front drive shaft. Tatoons custom rear CV style drive shaft. Flat belly skid plate. Warn 8274 8. 00 lb winch. Custom front bumper. Full roll bar. Cobra CB radio with mounted steel holder. Tuffy center console. Much more parts and upgrades to list. The motor runs strong and the automatic transmission shifts smoothly. This jeep easily does 65-75 mph on expressway with little to no vibration and is an off-road workhorse! As typical with Jeeps this age. the fuel gauge and speedometer does not work. I am moving to another city and cannot take my jeep with me. All hoses. belts. and other maintenance items have been replaced. Transmission and transfer case fluids changed in 2014. Engine oil changed 2 times since motor was put in with only Mobil Synthetic.
