Description of 1980 Jeep Cherokee

1980 JEEP Cherokee (Classic investors only)This is a great shape classic Jeep that is 35 years old. For the past few years this vehicle has been garage kept. This is a hard to find classic. It needs some restoration. but. even if you find one this old. for those Cherokees in better shape - SSSSS. This vehicle is only for those who love Jeeps. This is not for a "driver" to work or "spare" vehicle. ENGINE: runs great. replaced starter. replaced power steering pump. replaced front hubs. new gas tank receiver. replaced spark plugs. replaced distributor with tune up. This engine will start quickly after not being started in a while. Engine has a "kill" switch on steering column (lower) to prevent theft. Mileage is not known. odometer says 22. 70. Title has 144. 99. EXTERIOR: Hood is good. added Jeep ornament. front grill is great. Driver & Passenger sides are virtually the same. Front fenders are good. Doors are good. Rocker Panels need replacing. New Rocker Panels are already purchased and come with the price of the Jeep. Rear Fenders have been replaced. Tailgate is good and operational (except slow in cold weather - sometimes contacts need cleaning). Top has some rust that is regularly noted with this year of Jeep Cherokee. New tires and wheels that are worth over $1000 themselves. INTERIOR: Dash is immaculate. Front seat need covering or replaced. Rear seat is great. Door locks work. Rear utility area side panels need repair. Front Floor has two holes that are covered with metal and flooring material. Factory fitted Front Floor Panels are purchased and come with the price of the Jeep.
