Original Jeep C101 Jeepster

1968 Jeepster Commando 4x4 with the removable hardtop. Completely original 255 "Dauntless" V, 3 speed manual transmission, dana 20 transfer case anddana 44 rear with a dana 27 up front. Odometer reads 25,132- I have no way to verify it but it has probably rolled over although it is hard to believe with the condition of this jeep.

The V6 runs with no issues and 3-speed manual trans shifts perfectly, both are great for cruising speeds around town and will maintain 60-65mph without straining.

Tires and wheel are aftermarket. The steering column has been replaced with one from a S10 truck and the seats have been reupholstered, are comfortable however there is a split in the driver's seat bottom.Jeep was bought a few years ago just as it is now. I have the passenger door panel but the window regulator for the passenger door does not work.

There appears to be a patch panel (about 6"x6") on the tub just left of driver's seat. I'm calling it a patch because it doesn't appear to be welded but I don't think it is part of the original body stamping. The paint has pealed on the hood (see pictures) and while taking pictures I noticed the back hatch has some surface bubbling.

This is an extremely fun and easy car to drive. It is safe, reliable, and economical. It has been a great weekend cruiser. This Jeepster has never been abused off road. It has always been well maintained.

This vehicle as a great investment opportunity that will continue to rise in popularity and value.
