Description of 1966 Jeep CJ CJ5

1966 Jeep CJ5 Purchased new in Idaho. Garaged all its whole life with zero rust. 85 year old owner except the last 12 months. Original paint in very good condition with expected scratches mostly from around where the hardtop attaches. The driver's front fender had been painted sometime in its 49 year life. The hardtop is a factory option. Original V6 starts and runs like a watch. The transmission and rear end are quiet and work properly. The front end is tight and drives very nice. An after market power brake system was added when it was new. Many options were added when it was purchased. A winch was added with a PTO. In addition an extra gas tank with a dash operated switch. Also added were locking hubs. It still carries the original spare. The tires are very aged but still operate smoothly. Included and shown in the picture with the hardtop is a set of chrome wheels with excellent tires that will be in the back behind the seat. The owner also changed the seat to sit 3 passengers. Included is the original purchase agreement. owners manual. locking hub operation card and owner's service policy. Amazing condition with 34. 60 actual miles.
