Jeep and its strong history of manufacturing rugged and ready off road vehicles will never lose its place in the automotive world. Produced in the 40's and production continues today, one thing staying true is that the Jeep brand has always offered a "Willys/CJ/Wrangler/" all with the same style and function of a fun sporty vehicle for the trails, farm, beach or cruiser. This recently restored 1978 AMC CJ-7 Levi's edition Jeep is just plain beautiful. The Jeep has been... in the family since new. It has recently received a new hot dipped galvanized TDK frame and was built from there. It was given a new tub, front fenders, tail gate, windshield frame, front and rear springs. Thousands were spent bringing the Jeep back to its original beauty. The Jeep rides on new Hankook Dyna Pro All Terrain 265/65R17 tires on 17 inch polished aluminum wheels. Other highlights include KC Fog lights, power brakes, power steering, beautifully detailed engine compartment, Smitty Built step bars, roll bar, spare tire and tow package. The 283 6 cylinder runs well and the Jeep handles as it should and shifts in and out of gear smoothly. It is a striking vehicle in person and one that demands a closer look for anyone considering a vintage CJ7. These trusty and fun vehicles will continue to rise and the chances of finding one that has not been eaten by the rust monster is next to impossible.
