Description of 1977 Jeep CJ

This 1977 CJ5 is perhaps unique. due to the low mileage. Previous owner did honor the accuracy of odometer. due to his knowledge of this jeep being stored in barn for a number of years. and was not driven. After I owned it. I thoroughly restored it. It has 4 new tires. new brakes. all of the fluids had to be changed in transmission. & front & rear axle hubs. hoses replaced; has new gas tank. fuel pump. sending unit. fuel gauge; all new rubber connections. wheel cylinders. master cylinder. new rubber connections on all 4 wheels to wheel cylinder; muffler & tailpipe replaced. new module. batter. distributor cap. plugs & plug wires; heater core. all new hoses & radiator hoses; most of the light bulbs changed: And the list goes on. Comes with spare tire & complete cover. and the original owner's manual. Jeep is very nice & very clean. I probably don't see all blemishes. & I will tell you it is not perfect by any means. but consider the fact this jeep is 37 yrs. old As the pix prove. the body is mostly original. The tub & frame were pressure cleaned & soaked in Rustex Rust Converter; primed & repainted; windshield glass is new; original seats & sunvisors & dash; no cracking on dash. Roll bar & carpet in back are the original. has aftermarket am. m radio and cassette player; The top is not new. but in good condition. This jeep is a replica of the Army jeeps used during the Korean War. of which I am a Korean War Vet. And to restore this. was a special challenge with a joyful meaning to me. WHY SELL?? When one is heading for assisted living in the near future. Answers that question. To the best of my knowledge. I have been as forth coming as I can bein the description of this jeep. To any prospective buyer. I suggest you have a certified mechanic or third party to inspect the jeep dur-ing daytime hrs ( between 10:00 am & 4:00 pm ).
