1973 JEEP Grand Cherokee 4x4 Rust Free AZ Wagon
This is a very clean / unmolested original barn find Jeep Grand Cheroke, Az truck LOW LOW RESERVE We suggest viewing our auction on normal monitors or tablet to get the most out of our large hi-def pics.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION: 1973 Jeep was basically a barn find here in Tucson. Owner says the odometer is 44k original miles, but cant really verify, but it needs restoration or some resto-modding anyways. Its very rust and rot free underneath and on the body. Think the tailgate area is the only place we saw any real rust to worry about (See pics below). The original V8 turns over, but its not running at the moment. Gas tank was pulled and cleaned out but not put back together. Also someone lost the keys so to make it mobile the ignition switch was pulled to unlock the steering and think the linkage for the shifter was disconnected. It rolls and steers fine now. Check out the pics and more info below...thanks
DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND, apparently some people who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules. So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid. Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!! These cars are getting harder to find esp in this condition that are still affordable to most buyers. WANNA BUY IT NOW ? SURE, shoot me a fair offer
DRIVETRAIN: the factory V8 360 is very complete and suppose to have run fine when parked about 25 yrs ago. It does turn over by hand no prob. Auto trans and 4 wheel drive all intact too. Factory AC, PS, PDB and 4 wheel drive. Again, very original and complete still.
INTERIOR: take a look, for the most parts its very complete and original. Az has been hard on most of it as you can see in the pics It will need some resto of course. All the glass I believe is fine too. Doors all work, no rust or rot. Not pretty but very restorable.
EXTERIOR:the body is not in bad shape at all. The original color was Daisy Yellow, but was painted brown back in the 80s. Has some of the fake woodgrain still on the sides. Was painted brown over the original Yellow back in the 80s. No signs of any repair damage or bondo on of kind. Chrome and trim look to be in very usable decent shape too. Gas tank is clean and currently still out of the vehicle.
SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal and very original for its age. Factory height. Again, all looks intact. Rolls and steers fine, sitting on some 15" old skool real Centerline Convo-Pro rims, in nice shape. Pretty much stock and all factory still, no real mods at all. Not sure about the brakes, I need to check. Its been sitting for many yrs. Check out ALL the pics below ----->
it may take a full minute for them all to load ifyou have a slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll bar on the right side. The Az sw gets about 9" of rain a year and the dry desert climate preserves metal, doesnt rot it. more infoAFTER the 100+ pix below...
There you have it, probably The BEST represented Jeeps shown here on Ebay. Shows you all the good as well as any bad, hope you them We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars. People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks. Having as much as the original steel on a restored car speaks volumes. Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating. People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.
Email us with ANY questions before you bid please
Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as much feasibly possible via pics. Dont let auctions withlittle to no pics try to fool you.
