1978 Jeep CJ7 with the original (rebuilt) AMC 304 V8 engine and automatic transmission. It runs great and has enough power to lay rubber once it warms up. I bought this in Colorado and drove it down to Texas, so I would say it’s pretty reliable for just about anything. The entire fuel system was recently replaced with Holley products (carburetor/pump) and new few lines. I also had the master cylinder for the brake system recently replaced so it’s a little more responsive for times where you need to stop quickly. The steering is not super tight (maybe it’s a Jeep thing) but I’m used to it and doesn’t bother me. The tires are basically new with lots of tread left. This includes the bikini top, soft top, hard top, and doors. If you’re looking for a Jeep that works or one that you can really trick out in your spare time, this is is a good one! It has been parked in my garage 95% of the time since purchasing it back in 2016 and I have probably only put 2000 miles on it since owning it...including the drive from Colorado. This is a good solid Jeep and basically everything works and is in pretty good shape for something built back in 1978...super solid.
