Description of 1981 Jeep CJ

Custom built 1981 CJ-7, frame off restoration w/ tons of new aftermarket parts. Clean title, rust-free, runs perfect, & drives down the road like a new car & even has cold A/C. It is also very capable & ready to hit the trails. Over $90k invested in this build. It was built, completed almost a year ago, & never used as a result of some life changing events, so ONLY has 600 miles on it. It has been well maintained & garaged for that year. The Jeep has tons of power thanks to the 6.0L L76 swapped in that only has 10,300 actual miles on it, which is backed up by a Monster Transmissions built 4l60e transmission, that can handle over 500 HP. All conversion mounts & adapters were custom designed & built by Advanced Adapters. Underneath it has custom built axles, Dana 44 front w/ Detroit locker & Ford 8.8 rear w/ Detroit locker. All digital custom gauges inside. EVERYTHING on this Jeep is brand new, except for the engine, frame, and body/floor panels. I started by buying 3 complete old CJ’s in order to build 1 w/ rust-free CJ w/ original body panels, floor pans, & frame. Once I had these original parts, every single other part was purchased brand new (except the engine). It has a Viper alarm w/ remote start & remote electric door locks. The Jeep is sitting on 4.5” Rubicon Express lift springs, w/ 1” extended shackles, on 35” Pro Comp AT tires on 17” Pro Comp Alloy wheels. Front & rear Hanson custom bumpers w/ a tire carrier. I uploaded a video to YouTube to show how well it starts up & how great it sounds. https://youtu.be/wIjkOTRIaMI

Once again, ALL parts are brand new except for the engine, frame, and body/floor panels. I have receipts for every aspect of this build. The following are some of the highlights:

· 6.0L L76 (10k miles) with Howell computer harness, dyno tuned in Jeep running off a GM ECU (dyno sheet can be provided).

· Monster transmission built 4l60e with shift kit, 1650 stall

· All conversion mounts and adapters were designed and built by Advanced Adapters.

· Dana 300 T-case

· Dana 44 front, chromoly axles, Warn locking hubs, Detroit locker, 4:56 gears

· Ford 8.8 rear, chromoly axle shafts, c-clip eliminator, Detroit locker, 4:56 gears

· Heavy duty custom steering linkage

· Rubicon Express 4.5” lift springs

· 35x12.50R17 Pro Comp Extreme AT tires on 17” Pro Comp Alloy Wheels, along with a spare set

· Custom dash with digital gauges, everything works perfectly

· Jeep Air AC system, work great

· Full custom audio system with 2 kicker 10” subs and kicker amps powering the system

· Viper Alarm W/ remote start

· Electric Locks, which are controlled by the Viper Alarm

· Brand new 9k Winch with remote

· Hanson rear tire Carrier, and front winch bumper

· Beautiful paint job and custom Laredo graphics

· Soft top with a set of full soft doors and a set of half soft doors (Jeep includes a set of full hard doors, too)
