Description of 1979 Jeep Cherokee

1979 Jeep Cherokee, 4x4 with 94K Original Miles.
-Original 258 cu in (4.2 L) AMC I6 runs pretty smooth. Every now and again it will back fire. It may just need driven.-Original 4 speed manual transmission shifts smooth and clutch is good.-Original interior is in exceptional shape. The driver side seat has a split in one of the seams, other than that the seat are exceptional. The headliner is complete and in good shape. The door panels are in excellent condition. The dash is in excellent condition as well. The original floor liner is nice.-The body is very straight and in good condition. The right and left rear quarters have rust behind the rear tires. Those patch panels are available to buy very reasonable. I can have new panels patched in and primed for $1300. The driver floor pan does have rust and will need patched or replaced at some point. The rest of the body is very solid.
***You will notice that the hood and two doors are shinier than the rest. I had one of my painters start polishing it out so you can see it will polish up nice with a little elbow grease.
