Description of 1969 Jeep Commando

This car was my father's and he passed away about 5 years ago. I started working at a mechanic shop and decided I would fix it up to raise some money for college. I am moving in about a month and can't take it with me so I have reached a point where I need to sell though I wish I could keep going because it is hard not to fall in love with. Original V6 engine with painted valve covers. Many original parts that alone are worth quite a lot of money. This car has a brand new fuel pump and fuel filter. new spark plugs. rebuilt the carburetor. new battery. replaced brake fluid. cleaned and adjusted brakes. new upholstery. new air filter. changed coolant. changed engine oil and changed transmission fluid. It is a really fun car to drive around and people love it everywhere I go. I originally had collectors plates though now I have temporary plates on. The driver seat and rear seat fold down forward while the front passenger seat is stationary. I had to replace the front left fender from a small crash many years ago. The new fender is black but off a 1970 Jeeptser and a perfect match in shape. I wish I had more time to get into painting and some touch up work but I have to sell because I am moving out of town soon. It would make a wonderful addition if you are a collector and would be a great car if you just want something to drive around. Very powerful and very fun car with the top on or off.
