Description of 1977 Jeep CJ Renegade |
This 1977 Jeep CJ5 Renegade is an awesome 4x4 build with less than 100 miles on it since its full restoration. So while every lifted CJ looks cool, dig into the details that makes this a strong V8 machine with an outstanding freshness and a ton of utility. This is what a quality full frame off restoration looks like. There's just 80 miles on build, and when we say it's fresh, we truly meant it - right down to the brand-new weather-resistant fiberglass tub. The white paint has a clean and smooth look of quality. Contrasting this nicely is the are the Renegade graphics, side mirrors, and fresh windshield rubber. The well-done black contrast continues on rugged pieces like the fender flares, taillight guards, and HD rear bumper with tow hooks and trailer hitch. And of course, the Smittybilt XRC 9500lb winch is all about putting the most versatile face forward. This one was built to be open to the world. That's why the fresh black interior goes so nicely with all the exterior accents. Those Rugged Terrain bucket seats have a durable upholstery to live up to their name, and at the same time, they provide excellent bolstering for plenty of comfort. A rugged floor, proper roll bar w/padding, and three-point seatbelts compete a well-done package. This has been built for you to enjoy the drive, and that's why you have a tilt steering column, Hurst shifter, and crisp new gauges in the dash (including a handy tach.) Plus, the AM/FM stereo is an upgraded unit with Bluetooth so that you can have the best driving music no matter if you're in town or deep into nature. Under the hood is the 360 cubic-inch V8. It was fully rebuilt during the restoration, and now it's strong, fresh, and tidy. Plus, this motor has performance substance that includes an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake, and Hooker long tube headers that feed the stainless Flowmaster exhaust. And the three-speed manual transmission gives you complete control over it all. You can see from the undercarriage photos that they paid attention to everything during the restoration. New bushing, a lifted stance, ProComp shocks, and more deliver driving a feeling that's both sharp and confident. The two-speed transfer case, Mickey Thompson 15-inch wheels, and Procomp Mud Terrain tires are great for true 4x4 duty. But this is the kind of slick build that also looks good in the city. And the power steering and power brakes w/discs up front make that time easy, too. Rarely do you get a chance at something that's this fresh, powerful, and capable that's also quite affordable.
