VEHICLE- Recently VA State inspected good for one year, selling as running project car.
- Reason for selling: will not pass VA State inspection next year, due to corrosion in aft frame behind tires (see photos). My VA state inspector is very rigorous and said he would not pass the Jeep again. The aft frame had lightening holes, but no drain holes so the frame corroded. I could get antique plates in Virginia but they're limited use plates, so I don't want to do that. I'm hoping to pass this vehicle onto a Jeep aficionado. Quadratec sells rear shackle mount sections SKU RB2002L and RB2002R. Otherwise, the frame is in good condition.
- Very good mechanical condition: clutch, transmission, 4WD, engine, new quality Goodyear tires, no "death wobble", driven about 3K miles per year, oil changed every year.
- Corrosion present: front left fhender, driver side floor, right rear panel, aft frame,
- Original factory installed AC, never has worked, but kept belt attached to compressor so it's not locked.
- The faceplate radio illuminates and appears to work, but never had speakers in the Jeep.
- Steering wheel lock mechanism broken.
- Overview of history: no accidents, clean title. Texas and Virginia car, i m the 4th owner according to Auto Check.
EXTRAS- 2 Jeep manuals, 2 extra keys, 2 doorless mirror mounts (no mirrors), club steering wheel lock.
INSPECTION/TEST DRIVES- Available for viewing, inspection, test drives on Saturday Oct. 28th, please contact me at least 24 hours in advance to make arrangements.

- This generation of Wrangler has either a 15 gallon or 20 gallon tank. Tank in this Wrangler is 15 gallons. Jeep will be sold with a full tank of gas.

- I average about 20 mpg. The top speed which I feel comfortable driving this vehicle is 60 mph, RPM is at about 2500 in that case. The maximum I'll ever do is 65 mph as the engine is a 4 cylinder.
- The engine is in good condition, doesn't burn oil.
