For sale is a well kept 1978 AMC Jeep CJ-7 in firecracker red. It has spent most of its life in Arizona and Texas. It belonged to a Coca-Cola operation and was well maintained. It has only 57.3k miles. Power steering. The engine is a quick starting 4.2L straight six with a newly remanufactured Carter YF carb. Electric fuel pump replaces the unreliable new foreign manual pumps. New leaf springs and shocks all around. Spare Ranchos included. Will include a $600 CJ to YJ front spring conversion set with all parts. The rear has YJ HD springs already installed. The body and tub are free of rust. The frame has some minor surface rust on certain areas but is absolutely solid. Transmission is a manual 3-speed that shifts flawlessly, as does the transfer case. New locking hubs also installed. New tie rod and tie rod ends. New steering shaft bearings and new premium steering shaft. New interior carpeting. Rear bench seat included. Seats are original and beat up, so they have covers on them. Hard top is solid but could use a paint job. New electronic control module. Some spare parts included. Rides on 31" tires.
