Description of 1992 Jeep Wrangler Islander |
This is one of those rare finds. It's a Jeep. it's got low original miles. it has no damage from off-road antics. it's got the nice I6 engine. AND it's an automatic. This has been such a fun car to have. The wife wanted one and she loves it. However with kid number two on the way it's just not practical as a momobile anymore (we did use it with the first one). We pulled the carpeting with the intention of doing a Line-X or Raptor type floor but never got around to it. It hasn't been a big deal for us. There is a really nice mesh top that is attached to the roll cage so if you take the top off you don't get baked by the sun. I put new synthetic cone speakers in it when we bought it and while it won't win any audio contests the stock head unit is quite capable of putting out enough sound to listen at highway speeds with the top off. I have been running Mobil1 Synthetic oil in it since we bought it at ~92. 00 miles.
