Description of 1961 Jeep CJ

I am the second owner and I purchased it from a family friend in 1971. The body is in very good shape with a small ding in right front fender and minor rust on the sides. It has some minor body work in the 70's and a new soft top around 1974. I also did some engine work back in the 70's including new clutch and had the values ground. We added the airplane altimeter to the dash but for the most part everything is original. It still has a manual wiper on the passenger side and vacuum on driver side. It has two gas tank holders in the back and the original side steps have never been used. I have the owners manuals but they are a little grimy from sitting on a shelf. It has a power take off winch with inside control lever. It has always been keep in a garage by first owner and by myself. The seat bottoms were recovered using a tanned moose hide in the 70's. I do have my maintenance log from July 1982 to August 1985. The miles went from 46652 to 51393 during this time. I only drove it sporadically after 1985 to keep it running. l am losing my storage garage in near future. It was last licensed in 1990 and that is probably the last year I started it.
