Description of 1967 Lancia Fulvia Sport Zagato |
I bought this car for my wife on her 50th B-Day and she didn’t like it. Oh well.. I have a few too many cars myself so the reason for selling it.. This Lanca Fulvia Sport 1.3 chassis #818.650.001248 is one of approximately 600 early Series 2 examples that included features from both the Series 1 and Series 2 Zagato bodied Fulvia Sport models. Sometimes referred to as a Series 1.5, these cars were built on a Series 1 body/frame with aluminum doors, side opening hood, and trunk lid, but has the dogleg 5-speed transmission and interior features of a Series 2 car. This example is titled as a 1967, but based on the chassis number was manufactured sometime in 1970. The odometer currently shows 7k km, but is likely 107k km. The car is a strong driver on the road with over $25,000 in work performed over the last 3 years. The car is running on 3 year old tires, BF Goodrich 195/60R14, and a rare set of 5 newly powder coated Campagnolo Ragno Alley wheels which look fantastic. The interior is in very good condition. The seats, door cards, headliner were re-upholstered in the last few years, and new wool carpet, and leather wrapped dash were both fitted just a few months ago.. The original plastic wood-grained steering wheel was sent to Gary’s Vintage Steering Wheel restoration shop and was completely rebuilt and looks great. The car was repainted in the same black just a few months ago, some small rust bits along the door bottoms was repaired at this time, also all new rubber, weather stripping was fitted when all the glass was removed. All gauges, clock, signals, lights are working as they should. Engine #3818.303.54380 is believed to be original to the car. The 1.3L V4 is in great running condition with a recent tune-up and major serve being done. A very small oil leak is present, but these cars usually have this. Recent work completed: Complete repaint New weather stripping Chrome Rebuilt rear suspension with new Koni shocks Rebuilt brake master cylinder New front and rear brake pads Major tune-up New electric fuel pump New clutch New carpets, dash, wood console New lap seat belts Restored steering wheel New starter New alternator Remove and clean re-core radiator Replaced all hoses New Electronic Ignition Rebuild carburetors Powder coated all 5 rims The undercarriage appears solid with only minor surface rust with no visible holes in the floors or rocker panels. I have the original front and rear bumpers that I had re-chromed and are included. I also have an extra front chromed grill plus a set of chromed light surrounds if you would prefer the front to look more stock. I had a 2nd set of these front pieces and had them powder coated black because it looked cool.. I have the owner manual, large shop manual, tool-kit and jack. Mike 323 855-4359 |
